Erasure

Independent scientific testing confirms this degausser erases Longitudinal Magnetic Recorded (LMR) and Perpendicular Magnetic Recorded (PMR) hard drive media with a coercivity of 5000 Oersteds and tape media with a coercivity of 2800 Oersteds.

Optional Storage Case

The HPM-1 comes with an optional storage/deployment case. This ensures you have the ability to safely take your degausser anywhere it’s needed. It comes with four castor wheels and allows you to put the degausser on top of the closed case to double as a portable work bench.Once finished simply put it back in the case for safe secure storage.

The high density polyethelyne case with steel reinfoced corners can be ordered from Shredders Direct with the degausser or afterwards if you regret not getting one when you first placed you order. To minimise delivery costs we recommend you consider ordering one with the degausser.
