GBC Multibind 220 Binding Machine Detailed Description

Binding doesn't get any simpler with this tough combination binder and 4-hole punch unit. You can either punch up to 20 sheets of paper to file away in folders or you can quickly bind reports, presentations and documents with a maximum binding capacity of 450 sheets at 80gsm. The Combind 220 uses 51mm plastic comb and comes with a comfortable and powerful 2-handed punch handle making punching effortless and quick. You can also easily unbind documents to insert new pages when manuals and documents need to be updated. With it's fold down cover and arms its fully portable, compact and easy to store.

IT'S REALLY EASY TO USE:

To do 4 Hole Punching:

With the handle in the upright position, insert the sheets into the 4 hole punching channel (max 30 sheets 80 gsm). Make sure the pages are flush to the edge guide. You then Press the punching level downwards to punch and return the handle to the original position. Now you simply remove the document which has the holes punched into it.

To Do Comb/Wire Punching (21 holes, rectangular)

First, set the paper edge guide. Punching - With the handle in the upright position, insert the sheets into the 21-hole punching channel (max 20 sheets 80 gsm) Making sure the pages are flush to the edge guide. Then Press the punching level downwards to punch and return the handle to the original position then remove the document

To Do Comb Binding

1. Select the correct comb size (see instruction booklet it comes with). Then Insert the entire document to be bound into the binder channel. Then Press the binding lever downwards and read off the required comb size from the scale on the mobile pressure bar. Use the table if you intend to bind more than approx. 125 sheets of 80g paper (comb larger than 14mm).

2. Insert and open the comb. Place the plastic comb with the open side facing upwards into the comb holder. Then Press the binding lever downwards so that the comb opens fully and the material to be bound can be inserted easily.

3. Load the punched paper onto the comb. Load each punched paper stack onto the comb.

4. Close the comb. Move the binding lever back to its uppermost position. Remove your bound document from the unit
